Land and Water Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that my home office is in Treaty 1 territory (known as Winnipeg) and that the land on which I live and work is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Denes Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. I acknowledge that our water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation. As I work remotely across the country, I recognize the vast ancestral lands, the history of stolen land and all related treaties.
I’m inspired by the stories of resilient Indigenous individuals and communities and seek to participate in collective good through my purpose to nurture myself, others, community, and planet.
